Hi seniors,

I got 4511 rank. Can i expect to get chem/civil/IT or anything better then this?

akitsharma you will get chem for sure..........but it is my advice to you not to take chem. in manipal....try somewhere else chem. is not aicte approved in manipal.....only 6 or 7 branches are aicte approved.......

my rank is 5500.. which popular branch can i get?? Would v be required to deposit fee at councelling also??

MIT is a university... so as per Supreme court ruling it does not require AICTE approval.. only affiliated colleges require

hi.....Is information technology IT good in manipal....about faculty,placements,, .etc.......How it is comparable with CSE?.......

Is EEE better in jobs,placements or IT in manipal ....?

Sir my rank is 6789,As i am called for counselling,I am going for it,I wanted to go for CSE or mechanical,But I know with this rank No chance,,,Is there any possibility of getting CSE or MEC after first year with first year marks,How much one must need to upgrade his branch from the lowest one,This is a crucial decission for me,Please help,If it is not possible to upgrade my branch with marks after first year then I am not going for admssion,,,please please reply.

EEE is very difficult in manipal............IT is good.....

jaydeep.......u will not get mech.,cse for sure......with rank 6789 u will get only biotech and printing.......it is my advice to u not to take lower branches............. and it is very difficult to upgrade branch..for that u hve to get a minimum of 9 gpa to get csc.,
mechanical.....one more thing don't take lower branches....

to all the people who r going to take adm. in manipal if u get ac hostel then its ok......if any one get non-ac hostel u r going to feel the heat. oo la la..........its very much hot there....from january to may..........and why the fuck u people wasting ur fathers money on manipal.......you all will get average package which is arnd 3.2 lakh......and u complete ur degree with arnd 16 lakh approx. think about it.......... (pay 16 lakh and get 3.20 lakh).......my brother is studying in manipal 1st year b.tech mechanical and he is now regretting after taking adm. there........... mine is 1561 rank in enat and i m not going there as my brother told me not a good place,waste of money and lots of other things i cant tell u here......
